Thanks for reporting this. Seems obvious now that you reported it, just hasn't
come up in my use. I'll test your solution and put the fix in the next version.
という返事がきました。サンプルにつけたコードのバイト数カウントの方法はベストソリューションでないと思っているのでちょっと気になるけど。しかし Unicode のおかげで国際化対応がすごくラクになったと実感するね。
